Our Approach

Collaborative.
Evidence-Based.
Results-Oriented.

From Listening to Learning. From Dialogue to Action.
We don't begin with solutions. We begin by understanding the context

From listening and learning to dialogue and action, Alliance for Rethinking takes a community-centered, evidence-informed, and partnership-driven approach to addressing complex social and development challenges. We combine research, lived experiences, community perspectives, faith engagement, and technical expertise to develop solutions that are inclusive, participatory, contextual, adaptive, and sustainable.

01 — LISTEN

Understand Before We Act

We begin by listening to communities, institutions and stakeholders.Through consultations, FGDs, KIIs, surveys, assessments and community engagement, we seek to understand:

  • What communities experience
  • What barriers they face
  • What resources already exist
  • Who influences decisions
  • What local institutions can contribute
  • Where opportunities for change exis
We believe effective solutions begin with listening.

02 — UNDERSTAND

Put Evidence at the Center

ARC combines quantitative and qualitative evidence to understand the problem and its wider context.
We use:

:

  • Research
  • Assessments
  • Surveys
  • FGDs
  • KIIs
  • Stakeholder
  • Mapping
  • Community Mapping
  • Data Analysis

Where appropriate, we also examine institutional, social and political factors that influence outcomes.

Evidence helps us move from assumptions to informed decisions.

Bring the Right People Together
Complex challenges require collective solutions.
ARC brings together:

Our role is often to create the space where these stakeholders can listen to one another, identify
common ground and work toward shared solutions.
ARC’s organizational concept specifically emphasizes a consensus-oriented platform that brings different
voices together around faith-based interventions and shared development goals.

We ask:

  • What worked?
  • What did not?
  • Why?
  • What can be improved?
  • What can be adapted or scaled?
This allows ARC and its partners to remain responsive to changing
realities
