How ARC Works

ARC combines governance, independent expertise, executive leadership, technical capacity and field delivery within an integrated organizational structure.

Under the organogram, add:

One Organization. Multiple Capabilities. One Shared Purpose.

ARC’s structure allows specialized teams to work together around complex challenges rather than operating in isolated programme silos.

For example:

Health + Faith Engagement + Research + Community Mobilization + MEL

can come together around a single health programme.

Similarly:

Youth + Climate + Education + Research + Advocacy

can be assembled around a youth resilience programme.

This gives ARC a matrix-style delivery model that is very attractive to institutional partners because you can demonstrate both technical specialization and cross-sector integration.

HOW THE FOUR LEVELS WORK TOGETHER

I would put this graphic directly on the page:

GOVERN

Board of Directors

Provides strategic oversight, accountability and institutional stewardship.

ADVISE

Advisory Council

Provides independent expertise, challenge, networks and strategic insight.

LEAD

Executive Council

Coordinates strategy, organizational performance, programmes and resources.

DELIVER

Core Functional & Technical Team

Designs and implements programmes, conducts research, manages partnerships and measures results.

ENGAGE

Field & Community Teams

Work with communities, local institutions, faith actors, youth and partners.

LEARN

Research, MEL & Knowledge

Captures evidence, results and lessons and feeds them back into strategy and programming.

That last LEARN → GOVERN feedback loop is important.

It shows that ARC is not simply:

Board → Staff → Projects

but:

Govern → Advise → Lead → Deliver → Measure → Learn → Improve.

EMPLOYEE DIRECTORY

I would make the actual employee section a separate expandable area beneath the functional structure.

Meet Our Team

Leadership

Executive leadership and organizational management.

Programme Team

Programme managers and implementation specialists.

Technical Specialists

Sector and thematic experts.

Research & MEL

Researchers, M&E specialists, data analysts and field researchers.

Field & Community Team

Field coordinators, community mobilizers and enumerators.

Operations

Finance, administration, HR, procurement and compliance.

Employee Card Format

Each person gets:

PHOTO

Name

Designation

Area of Expertise

Short 2–3 line professional biography.

Expertise Tags

Research MEL Health Faith Engagement

[ VIEW PROFILE ]

Don’t put long CVs on the main team page. Use the profile page/modal for detailed credentials.

THE “ADVISORS” PAGE SHOULD FEEL DIFFERENT

Don’t present advisors like employees.

Use:

Our Advisors

Strategic Counsel

Then profile cards with:

Name
Advisory Role

Expertise: Public Health | Policy | Research

Contribution to ARC: 2–3 lines.

This signals that they provide independent expertise, rather than being part of ARC’s daily operations.

THE BOARD SHOULD FEEL DIFFERENT AGAIN

Use a stronger governance presentation:

Board of Directors

Governance | Stewardship | Accountability

Then:

Chairperson

Directors

Independent / Non-Executive Directors, only where this designation actually exists formally.

And below:

The Board provides strategic oversight and holds executive leadership accountable for organizational performance, institutional integrity and responsible stewardship.

ADD A GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE LAYER — BUT ONLY IF ARC ACTUALLY CONSTITUTES THEM

As ARC grows, I would recommend the following committees beneath the Board:

Finance, Audit & Risk Committee

Financial oversight • Audit • Risk • Internal controls

Governance & Ethics Committee

Governance • Ethics • Conflict of interest • Accountability

Programme & Impact Committee

Programme quality • Results • MEL • Learning

Safeguarding & Protection Committee

Safeguarding • PSEA • Child protection • Complaints

These can initially be Board committees or delegated oversight functions, rather than creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

THE GOVERNANCE MODEL IN ONE VISUAL

I would make this a beautiful graphic on the website:

ONE VERY IMPORTANT ARC DIFFERENTIATOR

I would put this statement prominently on the Team page:

Expertise Without Silos

ARC brings together specialists from different disciplines because complex social challenges rarely fit within a single sector.

A single ARC programme may draw on:

Research + Health + Faith + Protection + Youth + Climate + Community Engagement + MEL

to create a response that is evidence-informed, locally grounded and designed for sustainable impact.

This is highly consistent with ARC’s stated purpose of bringing together different actors and using collaboration, research, dialogue and partnerships to address systemic challenges.

And the page’s closing message:

The People Behind the Impact

ARC’s strength lies in bringing together different forms of expertise — from community knowledge and faith leadership to research, technical practice, programme management and policy.

Our governance provides accountability.
Our advisors provide perspective.
Our executive leadership provides direction.
Our technical teams provide expertise.
Our field teams turn strategy into action.
Our communities and partners help shape the solutions.

Together, We Rethink What Is Possible.

One governance caution: because ARC’s incorporation documents and programme proposal use different legal descriptions, I would resolve the “Private Limited / Section 42” terminology before publishing the governance page. The website should state one legally verified status consistently, especially because donors routinely conduct organizational due diligence. The incorporation documents themselves show directors/CEO and a company structure, while the July 2026 proposal describes ARC as a Section 42 nonprofit.
